The performance celebrates the publication of the second Story Pirates book, Digging Up Danger, this month. A new season of Story Pirates Podcast episodes will launch on January 31st via Gimlet Media.
The Story Pirates aren't typical swashbuckling sailors. They're some of the best comedians from New York and Los Angeles, searching for kids' wildest, most imaginative ideas to adapt and perform. Featuring hits from the podcast and their award winning album Nothing Is Impossible, the Story Pirates Live includes guitar playing horses, magic rhinos and exclusive videos. At every performance, the cast improvises a new story written on the spot by the kids in the audience. This highly interactive show sparks the imaginations of kids and adults alike, inspiring everyone in the family to start telling their own stories.
Wherever they go, The Story Pirates garner accolades from educators, parents, and kids. More than 500,000 young people around the nation have experienced Story Pirates programming.
