In celebration of African American Heritage Month the 6th Street Playhouse presents "Intimate Apparel," by Lynn Nottage. Set in 1905, this moving human-interest story follows a talented African American woman who creates intimate apparel for clients including women of New York society and prostitutes. Her life becomes romantically entwined with her clientele, challenging the sexual taboos of the age.
