The Whisper, a new comedy by Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography creator Eugene Pack will have a reading at SF Sketchfest, the San Francisco Comedy Festival, today, February 9 at 1pm at the Eureka Theatre.

In The Whisper a group of friends converge in Las Vegas for a wild and hilarious girls' weekend and begin to discover some of the true secrets of happiness.

The cast of the reading will include Roger Bart ("Desperate Housewives"), Rachel Dratch ("Saturday Night Live"), Jennifer Coolidge (Best in Show), Janeane Garofalo ("The Ben Stiller Show"), and Dayle Reyfel (Drama Desk award winner, Celebrity Autobiography).

Eugene Pack is the creator of the Off-Broadway hit comedy sensation Celebrity Autobiography which won him the Drama Desk Award. The show is currently on a worldwide tour with a rotating line up of performers. Pack is also an Emmy Award-nominated writer and executive producer. He was nominated for Outstanding Writing for Variety, Comedy or Music for "America: A Tribute to Heroes," which won the Emmy for Outstanding Special. Pack is the creator and executive producer of the popular CMT series "DCC: Making the Team," now in its seventh season. He has written and performed the critically acclaimed one man comedy shows The Senior, Something Flexible With Meaning, andUndisputed: My Night with the Queen of Soul. His full-length play Stan The Man, developed at Theatre West, was optioned for the screen and is slated to open in NY next year. Columbus and Amsterdam was workshopped with the Naked Angels at Vassar College's NY Stage and Film Company. Upcoming stage projects include The Whisper andHitherto. He is a graduate of NYU where he studied with David Mamet and the Practical Aesthetics Workshop and Playwrights Horizons.
