Photo Flash: Delroy Lindo Directs Wilson's JOE TURNER at Berkeley Rep

Delroy Lindo returns to Berkeley Rep – and to the play that made him a star – with a production of August Wilson's masterpiece, "Joe Turner's Come and Gone." The show, which is about African Americans searching for their place in post-slavery America, opens this Wednesday November 5, the day after this historic election. It runs through December 14.

Written by August Wilson and directed by Delroy Lindo, "Joe Turner's Come and Gone" stars: Keanu Beausier, Teagle F. Bougere, Kenya Broome, Don Guillory, Dan Hiatt, Inglish Amore Hills, Barry Shabaka Henley, Brent Jennings, Victor McElhaney, Erica Peeples, Tiffany Michelle Thompson, Kim Staunton, and Nia Warren.

The show is performed at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre's Roda Theatre, which is located at 2015 Addison Street @ Shattuck, Berkeley, CA 94704.

Previews have already begun and are running until November 4th. Performances begin on November 5th and run through December 14th. Shows run on the following schedule: Tuesdays & Fridays @ 8:00 PM, Wednesdays @ 7:00 PM, Thursdays & Saturdays @ 2:00 PM & 8:00 PM, and Sundays @ 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM. There will be no performances on Thanskgiving (Thursday, November 27). There will be no matinees during previews or on November 8, November 13, November 22,and December 11.

Ticket prices range from $13.50 to $71.00. Half-price tickets are available to anyone under 30 years of age. $10 discount for students and seniors are available one hour before curtain. Groups of 10 or more should contact 510.647.2918 or groups@berkeleyrep.org.
