Napa Valley Opera House League Launches Raffle of 2010 Toyota Prius To Raise Funds For Theatre

Don't miss your chance to go green and win a 2010 Prius while supporting the Napa Valley Opera House! Donated in part by Jimmy Vasser Toyota, this is the second such raffle to benefit the Opera House, with the 2008 raffle raising more than $48,000 for the historic non-profit theatre.

Raffle tickets cost $20 each and a maximum of 2,500 tickets will be issued and available for purchase. Tickets may be purchased at the Napa Valley Opera House Box Office, 1030 Main Street, Napa, by calling 707-226-7372 or by downloading and sending in the official entry form at www.nvoh.org/car. The holder of the winning ticket receives a 2010 Toyota Prius Model # 1223A (MSRP $23,170) with delivery in January 2010. Official rules are at www.nvoh.org/car. The Raffle is open to all persons age 18 and over who are legal U.S. residents physically residing in the United States and D.C. Employees of the Napa Valley Opera House, their spouses and children living in the same household are not eligible.

All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Napa Valley Opera House.

The raffle kicked off on August 15, 2009 at the Bruce Hornsby concert and ends on December 31, 2009 at the Marvin Hamlisch New Year's Eve Party at the Napa Valley Opera House. The winner does not need to be present at the event to win. One of only two individuals awarded an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony and Pulitzer Prize, Marvin Hamlisch, on solo piano, will present an evening of songs perfect for celebrating the new year, playing favorites from classics like A Chorus Line, The Way We Were and The Sting. The Napa Valley Opera House is located in the heart of downtown Napa. A national historic landmark originally constructed in 1879, NVOH celebrates its 130th anniversary this year. NVOH restored its intimate second-floor, 480-seat Margrit Biever Mondavi Theatre six years ago after 30 years of planning. During the 2009 Season, patrons experience an eclectic array of performing arts including theatre, dance, comedy, jazz, blues, world music, and family programming in a world-class setting.
