Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis Bring GRITS AND GLAMOUR TOUR To Gallo 2/9

By: Jan. 09, 2012

Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis, two of country music's most notable female artists, have joined together on the 'Grits and Glamour Tour' that will make a stop in Modesto for a performance at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Thursday, February 9 at 7:00 PM.

Tickets for this performance range from $19 to $69. A 15% discount is available for groups of 15 or more. For tickets or more information, visit www.galloarts.org or call (209) 338-2100.

Lorrie Morgan made history in 1984 at the age of 25 when she became the youngest person ever to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Her songs "Five minutes," "Something in Red," "Watch me," and "What Part of No" established her as a bona fide country star. She owns fourteen top-ten hits, twelve albums, seven of which have gone gold and platinum, and four Female Vocalist of the Year awards.

Pam Tillis has been a formidable force in country music since her first single hit the charts in 1990. She has racked up 14 Top Five hits including six that hit #1, and has sold over 6 million records, in addition to winning three CMA wards, two Grammy awards and an IBMA award. In 1999 she became the first country entertainer ever to star in a Broadway musical when she appeared in Smokey Joe's Café. She was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 2000.

The Gallo Center for the Arts' 2011-12 Premier Partner is Boyett Petroleum.
