Like feathers in a pillow that explode when ripped open, some secrets are better left buried. Or are they? Haunted by his past, World War II survivor Herschel Rabinovitz witnesses the consequences of his revelation in The Unveiling, a world premiere Equity
Members Project.

When Herschel Rabinovitz's nephew arrives in America, ghosts of the past begin to appear and long-held guilt-ridden secrets will not stay buried in Herschel's mind. Seizing the opportunity to clear himself on the altar of the Synagogue where he once served as President may look like the right choice for World War II survivor Herschel, but the consequences for his daughters are stronger than he bargained for. How can one man's personal decision affect an entire family? The Unveiling is a gripping drama that explores this and other issues of deeply felt loyalties, love, and differing
abilities to forgive.

Julie Dimas-Lockfeld directs the world premiere of this gripping drama by award-winning playwright Linda Ayres-Frederick at the Phoenix Theatre. Cast includes local actors Richard Aiello, Juliet Tanner*, Valerie Weak*, Evan Sokol, Michael Shipley*, and the playwright Linda Ayres-Frederick*.

"This new play tells a story that runs the full experience of one family; I'm sure the essence has flooded many since that horrible war ended. I'm honored to be a small part of it." - Gary Gonser, set designer for The Unveiling.
