Elton John's Tony winning musical Aida School Edition comes to Hillbarn Theatre in Foster City this weekend, July 20 – 22. For tickets and information, call Hillbarn's box office at 650-349-6411 or visit www.HillbarnTheatre.org.
As performed by students in Hillbarn's Summer Stage Youth Conservatory program, this popular rock musical features the legendary love story of a forbidden love triangle between a Nubian princess, an Egyptian soldier, and an Egyptian princess.
Aida was nominated for five Tony Awards and won four Tony Awards in 2000, including Best Musical Score and Best Performance by a Leading Actress and was named by Time Magazine in 2000 as one of the top ten theatre productions of the year.
