Hall Holbrook In 'MARK TWAIN TONIGHT' At Martin Center 11/22

HAl Holbrook in “Mark Twain Tonight” Comes to Marin Center for One Night, November 22 at 8pm.
The Marin Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium is located at Avenue of the Flags at Civic Center Drive in San Rafael.

HAl Holbrook brings his much acclaimed one-man show “Mark Twain Tonight” to Marin Center for one unforgettable performance. Begun as a college honors project, Holbrook first performed solo as Mark Twain in 1954. In 1959 a refined version of his show opened off-Broadway to immediate acclaim. The New Yorker proclaimed it “Uncanny. A dazzling display of virtuosity.” Life Magazine opined “One of the Treasures of the American Theatre.” The show won an Obie Award in 1959, followed by a Tony Award and Drama Critic’s Circle Award in 1966.
