By:

Today, co-founders Chris Maikish and Luke Klipp announced the cast for the acclaimed Los Angeles musical theater series, A Little New Music, performing at San Francisco's Feinstein's at the Nikko on Wednesday, September 7 at 7 p.m.

A project of New Musicals Inc., a non-profit organization committed to discovering and nurturing promising new works of musical theater, A Little New Music is a fast-paced hour of the best new or unheard musical theater songs performed by a mix of Broadway and premier West Coast performers. Whether it's a recent premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-and-comer, this is an entertaining evening guaranteed to keep your finger on the pulse of the new musical theatre scene.

Tickets for A Little New Music range in price from $25-$45 and are available now by calling 866.663.1063 or visiting www.feinsteinsatthenikko.com.

Broadway's Eric B. Anthony (The Lion King, Hairspray, Mary Poppins), Julie Garnyé (National Tour of Cats), Jasmin Richardson (National Tours of Memphis, Dreamgirls), and Jotapé Lockwood will be joined by musical director and composer Gregory Nabours (The Kennedy Center's "ASCAP: Part of Broadway: Today and Tomorrow") to bring San Francisco a fast-paced hour of the best new or unheard musical theater songs out there.

The evening will feature songs written by Emmy winner Doug Katsaros & Amanda Yesnowitz (Somewhere in Time), Michael R. Jackson (Teeth), Peter Saxe (MTA: The Musical), Natalie Lovejoy (Deployed), Andy Roninson (For the Birds), Alexi Kovin (The Guide to Being Single), Erik Przytulski (Alien V. Musical), Rollins & Levine, Michael Shapiro (Super Sidekick: The Musical), James Kenneth Ballard and Rosser & Sohne (The Boy Who Dance On Air).

In addition, guests will be treated to a world premiere performance from musical director Gregory Nabours's latest musical, an as-yet-untitled telling of the Orpheus and Euridyce myth, as well as a sneak peek at the San Francisco debut of Burwell & Sasser's new musical Bottle Shock, performed by Theatre Bay Area Award winner Alex Rodriguez and guest writer, James Sasser. This locally grown musical is currently in development with FOGG Theatre, under the direction of Playwrights Horizons' Kent Nicholson.

Since 2013, A Little New Music has introduced an impressive array of nearly 200 songs by established and emerging composers alike, presented by stars of the stage and screen, including Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden); Tony Award-winning writer Jeff Marx (Avenue Q); Tony, Drama Desk and Emmy nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek the Musical); Tony Award nominee Kevin Chamberlin (Seussical The Musical, Disaster the Musical); Shoshana Bean (Wicked); Eric Peterson (Shrek The Musical); Barrett Foa (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; "NCIS: Los Angeles"); Nicole Parker (Wicked, "MADtv"); and Michael A.
