Dragon Theatre Late Night Presents A Time Traveling Variety Show In September Image

Beginning in the summer of 2017 Dragon Theatre is open late on select Friday nights to showcase some up and coming local talents and help make downtown Redwood City the peninsula's premiere destination for entertainment. As a part of this series, on Friday, September 22nd Dragon is proud to welcome the Aether Brigade to downtown Redwood City as they present the Tipsy Time Comedy and Variety Hour!

Comedy, music, variety and burlesque, hosted by Aether Brigade! Meet the hilariously inappropriate heroes from another period! No, we don't mean your "Aunt Flo," we mean a time when people didn't have access to indoor plumbing, ships were still powered by steam and cigarettes were still sold to children! Lead by the enthusiastically ribald Captain Lucky Mulligan, the crew of the Time Ship Simultaneous have come all the way from the British Isles of 1881 to "protect" you from anachronisms, give dubious advice about the supernatural, and drink all your booze.

Admission for these shows is $17 in advance or $20 at the door and each ticket includes one beverage to enjoy during the show.

All shows are aged 21+. Doors open at 10-ish (if there's a show beforehand it might be closer to 10:15p) and shows start at 10:30-ish. Do note that this show follows the Dragon Productions Theatre production of Cirque Exotique du Monde which might run til 10:30p so it might be a slightly delayed start.

This series is sponsored in part by the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.

WHEN: Friday, September 22nd. Doors open at around 10p, show starts at around 10:30p.

WHERE: The Dragon Theatre in downtown Redwood City?
