Shakespeare's most popular comedy is all set to charm San Francisco as the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival and sponsors Nair & Co. bring to stage "Comedy of Errors", an extravagant production about mistaken identities and dewy-eyed lovers that begins playing in the city on August 29.

Free Shakespeare in the Park, in its landmark 27th year, is open August 29 through September 20 at the Presidio's Main Post Parade Ground Lawn (between Graham St & Keyes Ave).

The ever-offbeat theatre has come up with a unique cirque-du-soleil version that adds an eclectic grandeur to the drama, romance and slapstick long associated with this venerable classic. The famed story of two sets of twins who are separated at birth, their meeting years later and the ensuing medley of romance and comic chaos finds voice in the masterful visual and verbal puns of director Kenneth Kelleher, who returns to the festival with his trademark penchant for stunning imagery and music.

"The assortment of costumes, circus-inspired juggling and our astounding cast breathes new life to Shakespeare's drama. We are proud to be able to present this amazing theatre to people free of cost. It is very encouraging to see the enthusiasm people have shown in supporting this theatre," said Toby Leavitt, executive director of the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.

Produced every year in San Francisco, Pleasanton, and Cupertino, Free Shakespeare in the Park is attended by over 30,000 people and provides a platform for many young talents to thrive.

"The festival brings the community together, it educates and entertains them and supports local artists. It's a movement for keeping art alive and accessible and Nair & Co. is excited to be a partner in this," said Dr. Shan Nair, co-founder of Nair & Co.

The San Francisco Shakespeare festival, which started the free theatre in 1983, is today a leading theatre company and arts education provider and also runs programs for at-risk youth to learn communication skills, discipline, and team work through theatre.

Nair & Co. is co-sponsoring the festival along with Applied Materials, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, and the Arts Council of Silicon Valley among others.

Award-winning Nair & Co. provides businesses with an integrated solution in the HR, finance, tax, compliance and legal arenas making a company's move overseas less risky, stress free and more strategic. Headquartered in U.K., it currently has 700+ client operations in over 40 countries with offices in India, China, U.S. and Japan. In 2009, Nair & Co. was named among the top 100 outsourcing services providers in the world by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).
