Beach Blanket Babylon to Hold Special Post-Performance Talkback 11/4

By:

Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Babylon, the world's longest running musical revue, will hold a post-performance talkback and Q&A session with the cast, crew and artistic team from the show on Friday, November 4, 2011. San Francisco Chronicle columnist Leah Garchik will be on-hand to moderate. The talkback provides audience members the rare opportunity to get an inside look at what it takes to put on the world's longest running musical revue. Tickets for this performance range in price from $25 - 130 and are available by phone at 415-421-4222, at the Beach Blanket Babylon Box Office (678 Green Street, San Francisco) or online at beachblanketbabylon.com.

Hailed as "a constant cascade of showstoppers" by the San Francisco Chronicle, the always-changing Beach Blanket Babylon is packed with hilarious spoofs of pop culture & political characters, outrageously gigantic hats and one show-stopping number after another. Now in its 37th year, the show continues to dazzle audiences at Club Fugazi in San Francisco's North Beach district.

Snow White continues her fast-paced musical journey around the world in search of her "Prince Charming," and along the way encounters a star-studded, ever-changing line-up of hilarious pop-culture characters, including Prince William & Kate and the Queen of England, Lady Gaga, President Barack Obama & Michelle, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, John Boehner, Sarah Palin, Beyonce, Snooki (from "Jersey Shore"), Governor Jerry Brown, Oprah Winfrey, The Cast of "Glee," Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann & Rick Perry, Kim Kardashian, Michael Jackson and the San Francisco Giants.

Beach Blanket Babylon's performance schedule is as follows: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 6:30 & 9:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 & 5 p.m. Tickets range in price from $25 - 130 and are available by phone at 415-421-4222, at the Beach Blanket Babylon Box Office (678 Green Street, San Francisco) or online at beachblanketbabylon.com.
