BATS Improv is proud to host Europe's premier improvised theatre company, Det Andre Teatret. Translated as "The Other Theatre," Det Andre Teatret is a gem of the international improv scene and BATS is proud to host them for four shows in San Francisco the first weekend of December. All shows will be performed in English.

December 1st - Almost Ibsen is a completely improvised one-act play in the style of Henrik Ibsen. The performance will be followed by a interview and Q&A hosted by BATS Company Player, Rafe Chase, and a champagne reception with the cast will top off an unforgettable night of theatre.

December 2nd - In Jackpot!, the players' imaginations are on full display and pushed to the limit as suggestions and players are matched randomly and the stories begin instantly. Players from BATS Improv and Det Andre Teatret join together in this performance! Arrive by 7:45 PM to give suggestions to use in the show, and if your suggestion is used, you might win a prize!

December 3rd - When They Met: A heartwarming, feature-length and completely improvised romantic comedy performed by Europe's premiere improvised theatre company.

December 4th - The Toys Strike back: A special children's matinee! Free for ages 13 and under - if a child brings a toy it might be used in the show.

Founded in 1986, BATS has become the premier improvisational performing company and improv training school in the Bay Area, attracting more than 12,000 audience members and 1,300 workshop enrollments every year. www.improv.org

Tickets are $20 general admission and available through the BATS website www.improv.org or by phone (415) 474-6776. Email - bats@improv.org
