Awesome Theatre Presents TERROR-RAMA III: DEAD THE WHOLE TIME ImageAwesome Theatre, (In Search Of The Funniest Play Ever, Christian Teen Dolphin-Sex Beach Party, Mercy Killing) announces the return of its horror anthology series; TERROR-RAMA, October 12-27, 8pm at PianoFight.

TERROR-RAMA III: DEAD THE WHOLE TIME amps up the terror in Awesome Theatre's third production of its horror series with more blood, more screams, and more thrills! Two plays are presented in a "Midnight Movie" double feature style, complete with Horror-Host, Sindie Chopper. The first act play "The Suffered" by Awesome Theatre's own Artistic Director Colin Johnson, is an atmospheric ghost story of love, loss and revenge. "The Suffered" promises scares that will make audiences jump out of their seats and induce nightmares long after the curtain closes. The second act play, "My Cannibal Summer" by Awesome Theatre Resident Artist Claire Rice, is a depraved and hilarious romantic comedy where two star crossed cannibals meet at a barbeque. "My Cannibal Summer" asks hard questions about what it means to be in a community and at what temperature you should roast your best friend.

TERROR-RAMA is a new-play incubator where Awesome Theatre commissions two new horror-themed plays every two years. Each pair of plays goes through a year of development including readings, dramaturgical meetings, and writing workshops, leading up to a public reading/fundraiser. Then another year of revision and workshops culminates in a fully staged production. Awesome Theatre's goal is to create a lasting and original adventure for every audience member and collaborator; a shared escapade of escapist entertainment.

Awesome Theatre is a Bay Area Theatre company dedicated to producing new, relevant, stylized, theatrical, live multimedia entertainment that will not only appeal to theatre audiences but to those who are just as likely to see a stand up comic, a movie or a concert as they are a play. We strive to create work that is accessible, creative, unique and knowing without being pretentious. Our goal at Awesome Theatre is to create a lasting and original adventure for every audience member and collaborator, a shared escapade of escapist entertainment.
