A LITTLE NEW MUSIC Set for Feinstein's at the Nikko, 9/7

Feinstein's at the Nikko is thrilled to present the acclaimed Los Angeles musical theater series, A Little New Music, on Wednesday, September 7 at 7 p.m. A project of New Musicals Inc., a non-profit organization committed to discovering and nurturing promising new works of musical theater, A Little New Music is a fast-paced hour of the best new or unheard musical theater songs performed by a mix of Broadway and premier West Coast performers. Whether it's a recent premiere from an established writer or an undiscovered tune from a promising up-and-comer, this is an evening guaranteed to entertain with a program that keeps your finger on the pulse. Since 2013, A Little New Music has introduced an impressive array of over 150 songs by established and emerging composers alike, presented by stars of the stage and screen, including Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan (The Secret Garden); Tony Award-winning writer Jeff Marx (Avenue Q); Tony, Drama Desk and Emmy nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, Shrek the Musical); Tony Award nominee Kevin Chamberlin (Seussical The Musical, Disaster the Musical); Shoshana Bean (Wicked); Eric Peterson (Shrek The Musical); Barrett Foa (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; "NCIS: Los Angeles"); Nicole Parker (Wicked, "MADtv"); and Michael A. Shepperd (Little Shop of Horrors).

Located within Hotel Nikko (222 Mason Street, San Francisco), Feinstein's at the Nikko presents a wide range of entertainers from stage and screen all within an intimate 140-seat cabaret setting. There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per person inside the showroom which guests can use towards cocktails as well as a variety of small plates crafted exclusively for Feinstein's at the Nikko, through Restaurant Anzu. Cheese and dessert platters will also be available in the showroom.

Guests of Feinstein's at the Nikko can enjoy a variety of food and beverage options before performances. Kanpai Lounge, located in Hotel Nikko's lobby, offers light cuisine, a full bar and specialty cocktails. Restaurant Anzu, Hotel Nikko's intimate restaurant located on the second floor, serves sustainable California cuisine enhanced with Asian flavors. Restaurant Anzu will also offer Feinstein's at the Nikko guests a special three-course prix-fixe dinner ($45 per person) prior to all performances.
