The holiday spirit is taking over San Francisco's Union Square tomorrow and A.C.T. is playing its part to usher it in. A.C.T. core Acting Company member and Master of Fine Arts Program graduate Omozé Idehenre, who plays The Ghost of Christmas Present in this year's production of A Christmas Carol, will emcee the opening ceremonies for the Safeway Holiday Ice Rink in Union Square. The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, November 9. Hope you'll be able to join us!

Idehenre will appear in costume (an abundant robe in striated green velvet designed by local treasure Beaver Bauer) and hail the beginning of the holiday season in San Francisco.

Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition, A Christmas Carol, celebrates its 35th anniversary at A.C.T. this year and runs at December 1-24. Several performances have already sold out. Tickets, starting at $15, are available by calling the A.C.T. box office at 415.749.2228 or online at www.act-sf.org.
