6th Street Playhouse hosts their "Sing-a-Long Sound of Music", a benefit event for the 6th Street Playhouse.
Sing-a-long with Julie Andrews and the Von Trapp Family Singers while enjoying the most successful movie musical of all time when the 6th Street Playhouse presents "Sing-a-long Sound of Music." Be part of the audience participation experience in this full-screen, technicolor presentation of the classic and beloved film, featuring subtitles for all the songs.Audiences are encouraged to come in their favorite "Sound of Music" costume to compete for First, Second and Third place prizes which include complimentary tickets to the 6th Street Playhouse production of "A Christmas Story" playing in November and December, 2011.A "Sing-a-Long" host will lead audiences through a vocal warm up and guide audiences through the accompanying actions and use of the interactive funpack for a fun, joyful, memorable movie experience.
