The Family Album is a world-premiere musical with book by Sam Chanse, music and lyrics by MILCK (Connie K. Lim) and AG (Adrianne Gonzalez), conceived by MILCK and Jess McLeod, and directed by Jess McLeod. Singer-songwriter Mia Bing, desperate to break through in the music industry, is pulled back to her childhood home where she must confront an unresolved secret and learn to use her voice to heal from the past. The cast features Marc delaCruz, Aury Krebs, Claire Kwon, Jodi Long, Paul Nakauchi, Courtney Reed, and Kendyl Sayuri Yokoyama. Inspired by MILCK and AG's viral 2017 song Quiet, the musical draws on the personal stories of its creators to explore family, identity, and reclaiming one's voice.
