The San Diego Theatre Connection is Creating Community and helping families when they need it most. WE ARE FAMILY is a coordinated donation drive with three of the county's top community theaters to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego. To help, you can attend performances August 25-October 15, 2017 and donate cash or personal items used for programs assisting families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Linda Vista. Every year, more than 1,200 families are given a safe, comfortable place to stay while their children are being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.

See one of our San Diego Theatre Connection shows and donate items to put in a welcome bag for families on their arrival. The 'wish list' includes stuffed animals, small blankets, board games, puzzles, coloring books, tissue, lip balm, lotion, hand sanitizer, sports bottle, and books for adults or children. More information can be found and financial donations can also be made directly at http://www.rmhcsd.org .

It's Red Shoe Day at Every Performance: See a show and drop some cash in the famous Ronald McDonald Red Shoe located in each theater lobby. Our lineup of shows includes two popular comedies for adult audiences and a family-friendly award-winning Broadway musical.
