Lamb's Players Theatre today announced the cast for their upcoming production of Freud's Last Session, opening on April 11th on their resident stage in Coronado.

At the outbreak of WWII Sigmund Freud has a meeting with a young Oxford professor, C.S. Lewis. Playwright Mark St. Germain presents an exhilarating conversation both profound and humorous, about love, sex, death and God from two fascinatingly different points of view.

Starring as Sigmund Freud will be Robert Smyth, with Francis Gercke in the role of C.S. Lewis.

LAMB'S Associate Artistic Director and the director of Freud's Last Session, Deborah Gilmour Smyth, shared "we are pleased to have an ongoing history of examining works by and about Lewis...including this year's January production of Tom Key in C.S. Lewis on Stage. We first visited Freud's Last Session by way of a very well received staged reading a few years back -- so we are excited to mount a full-scale production of this fascinating conversation. And we have long admired Fran Gercke's work in the theatre community, and are eager to welcome him to the Lamb's stage for the first time."

Freud's Last Session runs from April 11th - May 17th, Select Wed @ 2pm, Tues-Thurs at 7:30, Fri @ 8pm, Sat @ 4pm & 8pm and Sun @2pm at Lamb's Players Theatre, Coronado, located at 1142 Orange Avenue, Coronado CA 92118. Tickets are $22-$72. Tickets can be purchased at the box office (Tues-Sat noon-7) by phone at 619-437-6000 or online at lambsplayers.org.
