Lamb's Players Theatre announced today that Director of Development, Colleen Kollar Smith, is transitioning from her position at Lamb's Players Theatre into a new position as Director of Organizational Advancement at New Village Arts, as well as establishing a non-profit consulting business.

"The leadership, staff, and supporters of Lamb's Players have been instrumental in my growth as an artist and administrator. Moving forward, I'm delighted to be able to continue my relationship on a project basis with the stellar community at Lamb's," shared Kollar Smith. "As a native and current resident of North County San Diego, I am thrilled to join the passionate leadership team at New Village Arts in Carlsbad. I'm also excited to contribute to the larger San Diego community as an Independent Organizational Consultant for nonprofits."

LAMB'S Producing Artistic Director, Robert Smyth, said "Colleen has been a tremendous asset to LAMB'S for more than ten years. I applaud her decision to work closer to home, to have more time with Lance (husband, Lance Arthur Smith) and their two amazing daughters. New Village is doing very exciting things in North County, and I know they will benefit from Colleen's creative energy and leadership skills. I am also most pleased that she will continue to do projects with us, and that as a LAMB'S Associate Artist, will continue to both choreograph and perform here in the future. All of us at LAMB'S wish her the very best in this new chapter."

Lamb's Players Theatre is located at 1142 Orange Avenue, Coronado, CA 92118. For more information, contact 619-437-6000 (Tues-Sat: 1-7).
