Civic Theatre Presents 'Video Games Live!' 7/24

Come and join the annual video game industry celebration in San Diego on Saturday night during Comic-Con! Experience Video Games Live: Bonus Round at the San Diego Civic Theatre (a few blocks from the Convention Center where Comic Con is being held) on Saturday, July 24th at 8PM.

And if you've seen Video Games Live before... fear not! Aside from our classics like Halo, Castlevania, Final Fantasy, God of War and Chrono Trigger/Cross, there will be a ton of new content that has never been performed in San Diego including music from the Warcraft, Final Fantasy and Sonic franchises along with games like Shadow of the Colossus, Interactive Frogger, BioShock, Silent Hill 2 and Afrika. Also appearing will be a cavalcade of guest video game composers performing and conducting with the symphony! Video Games Live will also be presenting the musical world premiere from the highly anticipated upcoming game End of Nations by composer Frank Klepecki (Command & Conquer). There's even a Guitar Hero: Van Halen competition during the pre-show festival where the winner will perform live on stage with the orchestra and choir for incredible prizes! And just because the concert is over doesn't mean the fun stops there! All ticket holders are invited to the post show Meet & Greet with famous game composers, designers, artists, producers and programmers from around the world FREE OF CHARGE! People who have contributed to the following game franchises will be attending the Meet & Greet: Metal Gear Solid, World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, DDR, Contra, God of War, Earthworm Jim, Metroid Prime, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Sonic the Hedgehog, Duke Nukem, Twisted Metal and MANY MORE!

Local San Diegan and guest celebrity JON ST JON - the longtime voice of DUKE NUKEM - will be on-site to host the costume contest and be part of the post show meet and greet.
