Texas State University's Department of Theatre and Dance will stage Perfect Pie, October 31-November 5.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. each day with a 2 p.m. matinee performance November 5. All performances will be held on the Theatre Center Mainstage.

Perfect Pie, written by Judith Thompson, is the story of two women who reunite after 30 years to face long-concealed childhood trauma. Together they unravel the painful memories and find strength in each other. The Toronto Star called the play a "richly rewarding new masterpiece." The production is directed by Texas State Master of Fine Arts student Carly Conklin.

Individual tickets start at $17 for adults and $10 for students, and may be purchased by phone at (512) 245-6500 or online at txstatepresents.com.

Founded in 1899, Texas State University is among the largest universities in Texas with an enrollment of 38,694 students on campuses in San Marcos and Round Rock. Texas State's 181,000-plus alumni are a powerful force in serving the economic workforce needs of Texas and throughout the world.
