The Grand Theatre Will Present LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, 5/8-23
The Grand Theatre will present "La Cage Aux Folles" May 8-25, 2013. First opening in 1983 to wide critical acclaim, "La Cage" has become a staple of American Musical Theatre. The musical won six Tony Awards, including Best Music, Best Score, and Best Book for Harvey Fierstein. The Grand cast, directed Brent Schneider, includes Kenny Wayne Parrish, Dave Hanson, Angela Avila, and Jay C Stoddard.
"La Cage is our closing show this season and it brings a lot of heart to our stage," said Richard Scott, Executive and Artistic Director at The Grand, "We welcome our community to this show to experience the fun and connect with the story, which is a striking example of fun, family, and acceptance."
The show plays only three weekends, May 9-25, Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm, with a Wednesday showing on the 15th and Saturday matinees on the 11th and 18th.
