Reawakened Beauty: Tillman Crane’s Jordan River Photographs on Display at Utah Cultural Celebration Center
Come celebrate a Jordan River Renaissance and the opening of Reawakened Beauty: Tillman Crane's Jordan River Photographs. The 9 mural sized photographs selected from Tillman Crane's book A Walk Along the Jordan truly capture a sense of place that is sacred and profane; beautiful and flawed in the black and white collection.
ARTrageous Educational Program: Join us of a guided tour and discussion of the traveling photo documentary exhibit promoting conservation on the Jordan River. The tour will be followed by a site walk to The Edge of the Jordan River and a hands on arts making experience lead by Polly Parkinson. Students will explore watercolor pencil technique and botanical illustration using samples collected from the river's edge.
