Pioneer Theatre Company Offers Early Bird Discounts for 2013-14
By: Tyler Peterson
Pioneer Theatre Company, Salt Lake City's fully professional regional theatre, is now offering "early bird discounts" for patrons who purchase tickets more than one week before opening night. These discounts will only apply to the first full week of the run, and are limited to tickets in the Orchestra and Loge sections of the theatre.
The "Early Bird Discount" for the upcoming Something's Afoot is available until September 13th. Purchasers will receive $5 off each ticket ($10 per pair) for performances in the first seven days of the run, which begins September 20th. Managing Director Chris Lino explains the reason for this new discount program. "Word of mouth from theatregoers who have seen our shows is our best advertising. Usually the last weeks of a run, once our audience word-of-mouth has kicked in, are either sold out or close to it. We want to get more people into the first week of the run, to help with that word-of-mouth. We are willing to offer patrons an incentive to buy early, and become, in effect, the best marketers for our shows."Videos
