Having Our Say Open Forum Discussion at Salt Lake Community College's Grand Theatre.
SLCC's Grand Theatre and Utah Cultural Celebration Center present an open forum discussion with African-American women in Utah focusing on their experiences living here. Women will be asked to share their experiences, both positive and negative, regarding life in Salt Lake as women of color. The discussion will take place Jan. 28, 6:30 p.m., at The Grand Theatre.

www.the-grand.orgWHO: Everyone is invited to the open forum discussion free of charge WHY: This program is presented in conjunction with Utah's African Heritage: Story telling through Art and Artifact, on exhibit now at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. The exhibit and open forum are presented in honor of Black History Month. This program has received funding from the Utah Humanities Council. The Utah Humanities Council promotes understanding of diverse traditions, values and ideas through informed public discussion.
