CenterPoint Opens THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, 3/30

By: Mar. 22, 2012

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST is described as "Oscar Wilde’s masterpiece of 'A Trivial Comedy for Serious People.'  It is a witty farce where two young men use the same fictitious name to escape Victorian social obligations and woo their sweethearts.  When the young ladies believe that they are engaged to the same gentleman, sparks fly.  But it all turns out well in the end as every Victorian comedy should."

The Importance of Being Earnest will be performed in the Connie Leishman Performance Hall (black box theater) under the direction of Jansen Davis.
