Photo Flash: BAD JEWS Opens Next Week at Capital Stage
Capital Stage presents Bad Jews by Joshua Harmon a NY Times Critics Pick (2013). Amy Resnick, last seen at Capital Stage in August: Osage County, and Blackberry Winter will direct this Sacramento Premiere. Bad Jews will be the sixth and final production of Capital Stage's 2016-17 Season: Love + War, and will run from June 21-July 23, 2017 with a Press Opening on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 8pm.

The night after their grandfather's funeral, three cousins engage in a battle royale over a family heirloom. In one corner is the unstoppable and self-assured force of "Super Jew" Daphna, and in the other, the immovable and entitled object of her secular cousin Liam. And in the middle is Liam's brother Jonah, trying to stay out of the fray. A fierce, biting comedy about family, faith and what you choose to believe, when you're chosen..
