Paragary Restaurant Group, one of the largest locally-owned restaurant groups in the Sacramento region, has taken on a new challenge: live entertainment. Replacing the former Cosmopolitan Cabaret in the heart of Downtown Sacramento, Assembly is a state-of-the-art concert venue that will showcase local, regional and national talent spanning across performing art platforms. "What makes this space so unique is the variety of talent we will feature including live bands, improv comedy, celebrity DJs and much more," says owner Randy Paragary.

The 9,000 sq ft space consists of an open floor on the main level, a full bar and tiered booth seating. The open floor has the ability to be set for either cabaret-style table seating or general admission standing space for live music. The tiered booth seating offers a more "VIP" experience with plush u-shaped booths and table service.

One of the on-going features of the line-up will be "B Street: Live!", a sketch comedy act that will change each month based on current events and pop culture. The B Street Theatre, Sacramento's resident professional New Works theatre, will bring Assembly audiences saucy, sassy hilarity in the form of all-original sketch comedy shows starting March 22nd, 2013. B Street has successfully presented similar sketch comedy offerings at its current location featuring the varied talents of its dynamic Acting Company. Assembly's new partnership with B Street will energize the K Street District arts scene. Shows will run Thursday thru Saturday
from 7:00p - 8:15p, offering the theater the ability to also book live music and other entertainment in the later hours.

Paragary has hired seasoned industry professionals to operate and market the theatre i cluding bar & nightclub magnates Trevor Shults and Bob Simpson, as well as reputable booking agent Scott Brille-Lehn of SBL Entertainment. Their varied expertise and backgrounds will be vital to maintaining an interesting diversity of music genres and entertainment. The space can also be booked for private events, based on availability.
