NOW HEAR THIS Brings Short Stories and Original Music to Gold Lion Arts Tonight

NOW HEAR THIS: A Story & Music Performance Series that presents an evening of dynamic short stories, read by actors, set to original music, and performed live. It will be presented by Atim Udoffia, with music by Clifford Childers at Gold Lion Arts, 2733 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, 95818 tonight, October 10, 2015.

NOW HEAR THIS is a new monthly performance series that brings together writers, actors and musicians in this entertaining presentation of short story fiction. Come and experience the art of pure listening -- listening to stories, listening to music, listening to original works in a fresh format.

This month features stories by New York Pushcart Prize-winner Mark Wisniewski, Oregon novelist and short story writer Art Edwards, and published writer and California native Patrick Ireland. The stories are brought to life by seasoned actors and talented musicians who turn literature into a stimulating performance -- and a full aural experience.

This performance is appropriate for teens and older. It features a diverse group of talented performers, including actors Ethan Ireland, David Scott and Atim Udoffia. Music is composed and arranged by Clifford Childers.

NOW HEAR THIS takes place on Saturday, October 10th at 8 p.m. at Gold Lion Arts (2733 Riverside Blvd., Land Park). Suggested donation of $10 at the door. Cash only.
