Mendocino Theatre Company to Present THE LAST FIVE YEARS
The Mendocino Theatre Company is proud to present the intimate and unconventional musical, The Last Five Years, which opens on November 5th. Directed by Anne Woodhead, it chronicles the romance of two lovers: Cathy, who tells her story from the end to the beginning; and Jamie, who tells his story from the beginning to the end. As they make their way through love and loss, the two characters intersect only once: on their wedding day.
Written by the popular, Tony Award-winning Jason Robert Brown, this stunning piece of theatre is told almost entirely through song and features music drawn from several genres, including pop, jazz, klezmer, classical and folk. Featuring two talented local singers, Nicole Paravicini and David Strock, The Last Five Years is sure to be a hit.
The Last Five Years is performed at the Mendocino Theatre Company , 45200 Little Lake Rd. in the village of Mendocino, from November 5th through December 13th, Thursdays-Saturdays (excluding 12/11) at 8:00 p.m., and at 2:00 p.m. on selected Sundays.
