Harris Center First Glance At 2018-19: Big Stage Series On Sale Now!

Always a beehive of activity, the Harris Center at Folsom Lake College will put its 2018-19 Season of Performing Arts on sale to the general public in early July.

But the first glance at the season-in the guise of the popular Big Stage Series-was just announced.

Featuring a strong lineup of Broadway fare, including shows that have never been in the capital region before, the Big Stage Series is on sale today to the general public. Series subscribers save 20% over the cost of single tickets, may retain the same seats year after year, and can purchase additional tickets for sale at 10% off.

In response to the strong response to series sales in 2017-18, the Harris Center has announced that it will double the number of shows available for Big Stage subscription for the upcoming season.

"Seating subscribers in a venue like the Harris Center is a surprisingly tricky business, one with a lot of moving parts," noted Executive Director Dave Pier. "Subscriptions last year were limited to the first night of a performance, but following up on our successful inaugural series launch for Big Stage in 2017-18 we're adding Second Night as an option for our subscribers wishing to upgrade their seats, or change to a different night. By making an additional show available to subscribers, we've effectively doubled our subscribers' seating options."

"I'm very excited about this season's Big Stage lineup," added Pier. "Some years, there is simply more Broadway available than others, and this is one of those seasons. Which plays to one of the Harris Center's core strengths-a state-of-the-art venue that can present the big shows, while retaining the intimacy of an 850-seat house."
