ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT Comes to Sutter Street Theatre Image

When the Soady clan reunites for the opening day of deer season at the family's Upper Peninsula camp, thirty-five-year-old Reuben Soady brings with him the infamous reputation of being the oldest Soady in the history of the Soadys never to bag a buck. In a hunting story to beat all hunting stories, Escanaba in Da Moonlight spins a hilarious tale of humor, horror and heart as Reuben goes to any and all lengths to remove himself from the wrong end of the family record book.

The cast of Escanaba in Da Moonlight presented a special VIP performance to a sold out audience at the 300 seat Bootleg Theater in Hollywood. Attendees included Getty Images and. LA Fashion Magazine whose review features the headline "The Boys From The North Teach The Snobs From The South How To Laugh"

Of the cast of that production Mike Jimena (Albert Soady), Matt Udall (Remnar Soady) and Gerold McFatter (The Jimmer ) are returning. Eric Olsen ( Reuben Soady ) now resides in LA and will not be able to reprise his role and will replaced by Mark Androvich (Spamalot and Willy Wonka). Steve Reed (Ranger Tom) now travels for work and also will not able to return and will replaced by Rick Kleber a member of Actors Equity, who in addition to his roles at Sutter Street, has been scene at B Street Fantasy Theatre, California Theater for Children, Music Circus, Sacramento Theater Company, summer stock runs throughout the nation and several movies including "Ghost" and "My Favorite Martian"
