This week The B Street Theatre School Tourproduction of Fantasy Festival XXVII hits the road. This is the 27th year that elementary and middle school students throughout northern California have submitted original plays to B Street Theatre's annual playwriting contest for young people. Out of over 150 plays submitted this year, just five have been selected for the tour. The show presentsall five winning plays at 144 assemblies in over 108 schools in northern California between March 18 and June 7, 2013, with a special public performance at the B Street Theatre on April 27 at 10:00 am.

The winning plays are: THE TRAMPOLINE by Angela Tomasello from Williamson Elementary, Rancho Cordova, LEMONADE VS. LEMONADE by Dolores Villaruel from Cordova Villa Elementary, Rancho Cordova, JORDAN DA REBEL by Jordan Dreyer and Abby Benvenuti from Sierra Oaks K-8 School, Sacramento, ROBIN HOOD'S ADVENTURE IN CAMELOT by Josh Golden from Rocklin Elementary, Rocklin, and THE TIME TRAVELLER by Emily Walmer from Quincy Junior High, Quincy.
