Comedian Joy Behar is the host of The Joy Behar Show, seen nightly on HLN, and one of the original co-hosts of The View on ABC-TV. She headlined her own HBO special, hosted her own WABC radio show for three years, appeared in a number of films including Cookie, This Is My Life, and Manhattan Murder Mystery, and starred in theatrical productions such as The Food Chain and The Vagina Monologues. She is the author of four books, including the New York Times bestsellers Sheetzucacapoopoo: My Kind of Dog and Joy Shtick: or What Is the Existential Vacuum and Does It Come with Attachments? (2000).

Ms. Behar received a Daytime Emmy Award as Outstanding Talk Show Host for The View, the Gracie Allen Tribute Award, GLAAD's "Excellence in MediaAward," a CableACE Award and three MAC Awards. Whether performing standup comedy or interviewing politicians and artists, Ms. Behar is a remarkable woman and an acclaimed comedic original.
