Photo Flash: Broadway Training Center Presents CHILDREN OF EDEN
Broadway Training Center of Westchester, one of the region's premier performing arts schools, will present the musical "Children of Eden" on May 4-6 at the Irvington Town Hall Theater in Irvington, N.Y. The show will feature BTC's Ensemble program consisting of participants by Entrance Interview and Audition only.
Based on the story of Genesis, the age-old conflict of parents and children takes center stage. "Children of Eden" is popular in youth theater communities due to its universal themes of: family, love, greed, anger, and more! Broadway Training Center believes in developing character both on and off the stage. These themes are pivotal to youth theater education and serve as a vehicle for young actors to express emotions and explore social topics as artists.
The BTC cast is set to perform the story of the Old Testament in this moving foot-stomping musical, Children of Eden, with music by theatre greats Stephen Schwartz and John Caird. The production will be showing at 7pm on Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, and at 3:00 on Sunday, May 6 at the Irvington Town Hall Theater (85 Main Street).
