Hello BWW readers! We hope you had a great summer! But now that fall is upon us, our local theaters are gearing up for their new seasons. Here are a few things coming up:

  1. Elmwood Playhouse: To kick off their 2017-2018 season, the Elmwood Playhouse is presenting The Odd Couple by Neil Simon, directed by Margaret Young from September 8 to October 7th. The play is a comedy about polar opposite friends-turned-roommates. For tickets and more information, click here.

  2. Westchester Broadway Theatre: Following a successful run of a musical about another famous Annie, Westchester Broadway Theatre presents Irving Berlin's classic Annie Get Your Gun. The production runs September 14-November 26, and if you miss it then, it will return December 28-January 28, 2018. For tickets and more information, click here.

  3. Penguin Rep Theatre: This fall, Penguin Rep will present the premiere of Fall River by Frederick Stroppel, a play about the true story of murderer Lizzie Borden. The show runs October 13-November 5th. For tickets and more information, click here.

  4. Hudson Stage Company: Starting off their fall season, Hudson Stage Company will present Shining City, a play by Conor McPherson, directed by Dan Foster. The modern ghost story runs October 13-28, just in time for Halloween. For tickets and more information, click here.

  5. Armonk Players (armonkplayers.org): A little later in the fall season, the Armonk Players will present a modern update on a 17th-century classic- David Ives' The Liar, directed by Pia Haas. This show runs December 1-9. For tickets and more information, click here.
