Don't miss The Un-Common Theatre Company's Fall Family Production of "The Wizard of Oz" being presented at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro on Friday, November 22nd at 7:30 pm, Saturday, November 23rd at 2:00 and 7:30 pm and Sunday, November 24th at 2:00 pm. The classic tale of Dorothy and Toto's adventure in Oz has melted hearts for more than seven decades with its unforgettable melodies and timeless themes of family, home and the courage to pursue dreams.
Adapted from L. Frank Baum's enduring children's story, The Wizard of Oz follows Dorothy's (Abby Sitte, Norton, MA) journey over the rainbow where she meets the Scarecrow (Ben Reingold, Sharon, MA), Tin Man (Zachary Clift, Cumberland, RI), and Lion (Matthew Corbett, Attleboro, MA) and other magical creatures. Click your heels together and travel through the magical Land of Oz to meet the Wizard (Dave Troilo, Mansfield, MA), and obtain your hearts' desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West (Nancy McLaughlin, Medfield, MA) and her winged monkeys in this fantastic musical treat for the whole family.
The talented cast of 43 is guided by Director and Choreographer Michael Hammond (Holbrook, MA), Music Director Paula Bishop (Foxboro, MA) and Assistant Choreographer Cailin Dyke (Mansfield, MA).
