Tickets to Trinity Rep's 2015-16 Season Now on Sale

By:

Tony Award-winning Trinity Repertory Company, under the leadership of Richard L. Bready Artistic Director Curt Columbus, announces tickets to their 2015-2016 season will be available to the general public on August 17, 2015. Tickets for New England holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol, go on exclusive pre-sale on August 17 and to the general public on August 20. Tickets to all performances will be available online at www.trinityrep.com, by calling (401) 351-4242 or at the box office at 201 Washington St., Providence.

"When we plan a season, we ask ourselves the same question about every work: 'Why is this play relevant today?' The 2015-2016 season reflects what is going on in our society right now," states artistic director Curt Columbus. "Through a series of classic and modern adventures, we dissect, understand and honor the Rebels, Renegades and Pioneers among us. From children to heads of state, Western settlers to first-wave feminists-the brave ones, the unique ones, the different ones help us understand what it's like to be in someone else's skin, even just for a minute."

The season includes Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, directed by Tyler Dobrowsky; The Heidi Chronicles by Wendy Wasserstein, directed by Vivienne Benesch; The Hunchback of Seville by Charise Castro Smith, directed by Taibi Magar; To Kill a Mockingbird, adapted from the novel by Harper Lee by Christopher Sergel, directed by Brian McEleney; Arnie, Louis & Bob by Katie Pearl, directed by Melissa Kievman and Oklahoma! with music by Richard Rodgers, book & lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, directed and choreographed by Richard and Sharon Jenkins. Holiday programming features A Christmas Carol directed by Curt Columbus.

Trinity Rep is pleased to offer exciting new subscription packages for the 2015-2016 season, including an opening night package, and flexible packages of up to 10 tickets to be used throughout the season, in addition to popular full season options.

Season subscriptions are on sale and can be purchased by calling the box office at (401) 351-4242. Subscribing now also gives patrons immediate access to pre-sale tickets for A Christmas Carol. Subscriber benefits include free ticket exchanges, parking and dining discounts, and invitations to special backstage events. The Trinity Rep box office is located at 201 Washington Street, Providence, RI, 02903, and can be reached by calling (401) 351-4242.
