Providence's Local 121 To Cater Anthony Bourdain's & Eric Ripert Tour Reception

By:

Anthony Bourdain's & Eric Ripert's Good vs. Evil Tour (www.goodvseviltour.com) will stop by Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for one night only on Thursday, May 2 at 7:30P where they will share stories and muse on the place of food in our personal, community, and global life. After the show, Providence's own Local 121 (www.local121.com) will be catering the VIP post show event. Two hundred fans attending the performance will be treated to a special menu and a meet and greet with Mr. Bourdain and Mr. Ripert.

Located in the heart of Downtown Providence at the historic and newly renovated Dreyfus Hotel, Local 121 offers locally-sourced, New American cuisine in a comfortable, modern, and warm setting. As its name suggests, everything on the menu is sourced locally, from the Matunuck clams and Baffoni's poultry to the fresh-from-the-farm produce and artisanal cheese made in-town. Each of the constantly-changing, seasonal menus tells a story of Rhode Island's rich and diverse food landscape and the characters Locals all know by name. Since 2007, it has been the goal of proprieters Nancy and Senator Josh Miller, along with Executive Chef Dave Johnson, to cultivate an atmosphere of warmth in which to showcase the best of Rhode Island.

Tickets ($25 - $55 and $150 VIP) are on sale now at www.ppacri.org, at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in Downtown Providence), or by calling (401) 421-ARTS (2787). All ticket prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice. Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P; and through curtain time(s) on performance days.

Copies of Mr. Bourdain's books will be available for purchase on-site from Barrington Books, the show's Official Bookstore Partner.
