The Peck School of the Arts has announced upcoming events for January which include concerts by  Susanna Phillips and the Fine Arts Quartet.

Wed, Jan 25 - Chamber Music Milwaukee with guest soprano Susanna Phillips, 8pm, Helen Bader Concert Hall
A regular lead performer at the Metropolitan Opera, Susanna Phillips recently starred as Lucia in Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of Lucia di Lammermoor. Ms. Phillips will perform alongside UWM music faculty and special guests in a special concert of wonderful vocal chamber music.
$17 general/$12 seniors, faculty, staff and alumni/$10 students

Thurs-Sat , Jan 26-28 - An Evening of Operatic Comedy, 7:30pm, Recital Hall
UWM Opera Theater presents Gian Carlo Menotti's The Telephone and Edwin Penhorwood's Too Many Sopranos.
$17 general/$12 seniors, faculty, staff and alumni/$10 students

Fri, Jan 27 - Trevor Saint Solo Glockenspiel Recital, 7:30pm, Zelazo 250
Guest artist Trevor Saint presents a solo glockenspiel recital, featuring new and recently commissioned contemporary music by Music faculty Christopher Burns, Christopher Adler, Jeff Herriott, Drew Krause, and James Ronig. Trevor Saint is dramatically expanding the sonic and artistic possibilities of the bells, commissioning and performing a variety of new works for a special extended-range version of the instrument.

Sun, Jan 29 - Fine Arts Quartet, 3pm, Helen Bader Concert Hall
Fine Arts Quartet and guest pianist Joseph Kalichstein perform works by Johannes Brahms and Camille Saint-Saëns. The concert will be preceded by talk at 2pm from former MSO principal bassoonist Stephen Basson.
Free and open to the public. Reserved seats required.
