PPAC Now Accepting Video Submissions for THE ILLUSIONISTS Contest

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is seeking video submissions from magic enthusiasts performing their best parlour magic tricks. This competition is inspired by THE ILLUSIONISTS - WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE, which visits PPAC January 16 - 18, 2015. THE ILLUSIONISTS is sponsored by Navigant Credit Union and is part of the 2014/2015 Encore Series.
Having shattered box office records around the world, THE ILLUSIONISTS - WITNESS THE IMPOSSIBLE made its US debut at New York City's Marquis Theatre in Times Square just last month on November 26, 2014. This mind-blowing spectacular showcases the jaw-dropping talents of seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth. Full of hilarious magic tricks and astonishing stunts, THE ILLUSIONISTS has dazzled audiences of all ages. Talents selected as the top five finalists in the "Seeking a Great Rhode Island Illusionist" competition will showcase their parlour magic in a special event at The BoomBox, located at the Dean Hotel in downtown Providence, on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 7P. A judging team, led by former National President of The Society of American Magicians Bruce Kalver, will select the winner. The winner will receive tickets to see THE ILLUSIONISTS, dinner, and have the chance to meet a member of THE ILLUSIONISTS cast.Videos
