PPAC Hosts the World Premiere of the New GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW 9/30

Five-time Tony Award®-winning producer Jon B. Platt (WICKED, BOOK OF MORMON) and the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) announces that the world premiere of the new GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW, starring international sensation Fan Yang, will debut at PPAC Friday, September 30 through Sunday, October 2, 2011. World renowned bubble artist Fan Yang transforms beautiful bubbles into a thrilling interactive theatrical experience for audiences of all ages. Families will delight in this multimillion dollar spectacular featuring dazzling special effects and, of course, a GAZILLION BUBBLES! David Letterman calls Fan Yang "the greatest bubble artist in the world!" and Oprah Winfrey says, "Fan Yang is amazing. He will blow you away!"

Born in Vietnam, raised in Yugoslavia and now residing in Toronto, Fan Yang is a world renowned bubble scientist, artist and performer. Over the past two decades, Fan has explored the fascinating, unknown world of bubbles, combining art with science. Fan's ingenious creations and dedication to the pursuit of his craft have brought to life an utterly unique form of entertainment. He has earned international acclaim and currently holds 17 Guinness World Records, most recently having put 108 people inside one bubble.

Fan's spectacular shows have been featured at the National Museum of Science and Technology (Ottawa, Canada), Pacific Science Center (Seattle, WA), Singapore Science Center, Ontario Science Center (Toronto, ONT) and the Discovery Science Center (Santa Ana, CA). Tickets are $58, $38, $28 and $23; prices include a $3 per ticket restoration charge and are subject to change without notice. Please note that there are a limited number of Bubble Zone tickets available for $58 for each performance of GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW. The Bubble Zone is the best location in the Theatre for an interactive experience during GAZILLION BUBBLE SHOW.

Summer Box Office Hours are Monday through Thursday, 10A to 3P and are in effect through Thursday, September 1. Regular Box Office Hours resume Tuesday, September 6 and are Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P and through curtain time(s) on show days.
