Epic Theatre Company is bringing back this one-of-a-kind theatrical experience featuring Curt Columbus, Artistic Director of Trinity Repertory Company on Saturday, March 19th.

An actor walks onstage in front of an audience. He or she is handed a sealed envelope that contains a script. This will be the first time the actor has seen the script. Their first time reading it will be the first and last time they'll perform it in front of an audience. They will receive no direction or have any rehearsal. They'll simply dive headfirst into the story of White Rabbit, Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour.

These are the terms a theater must agree to in order to present the play. Epic Theatre Company was the first theater in Rhode Island to present this global phenomenon. This marks the fourth time the company will stage the production.

"I'm so happy to have Curt join us for the fourth go-around of White Rabbit," said Kevin Broccoli, Epic Artistic Director. "He's been a great supporter of the theater, but when I asked him if he'd be up for doing this, I was sure he'd turn me down. Walking onstage to perform a solo show without getting to look at the script or even find out what the play is about is not for the faint of heart. I was so thrilled when he agreed to do it, and it's going to make for an amazing night of theater."

White Rabbit, Red Rabbit will be presented as part of the Epic Event series that the theater will be hosting throughout the year. The series seeks to raise money for the theater, in addition to offering new and unique event programming that celebrates the immediacy of the theatrical experience.
