Epic Theatre Company's Sixth Season will feature an expansion of their free ticketing program, which will now be offering free tickets to members of the military.

"Our goal for the past two seasons has been to expand the number of people who get to experience theater without needing to worry about whether or not they can afford it," said Artistic Director Kevin Broccoli, "And we're so grateful to Artists' Exchange, our home in Cranston, for sharing the belief with us that theater should be accessible to as many people as possible."

Here's how it works:

Beginning in the Fall with our production of "House Arrest," those looking for guest tickets can e-mail EpicTheatreCompanyRI@gmail.com requesting tickets for a particular performance for themselves and a guest. If tickets are unavailable to that performance, the theater will do its best to get that person tickets to another performance.

"We're so excited to give something back to people who give so much of themselves in service to our country," says Broccoli, "Next year's season explores what it means to speak truth to power, and we wanted to do something to honor those who give us the ability to speak that truth."

*Epic Theatre Company seeks to bring provocative contemporary work to Rhode Island as well as new perspectives on classical theater. We strive to continue the tradition of "event" theater, where each production has built-in excitement both for the audiences and the artists involved.

**Epic is a proud member of the Rhode Island Theater Alliance (RITA) and is the Resident Theater Company at the Artists Exchange in Cranston, RI.
