BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL Returns to PPAC

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing have announced casting for the Providence engagement of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical BEAUTIFUL - THE Carole King MUSICAL. The National Tour, which launched at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in the fall of 2015, returns to PPAC February 27 - March 4, 2018 as a Broadway Special.

BEAUTIFUL stars Sarah Bockel as Carole King, Andrew Brewer as Gerry Goffin, Sarah Goeke as Cynthia Weil, Jacob Heimer as Barry Mann, James Clow as Don Kirshner, and Suzanne Grodner as Genie Klein.

Tickets for BEAUTIFUL - THE Carole King MUSICAL are on sale now at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence), online at www.ppacri.org, and by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787). Box Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 10A to 5P; Saturday, 10A to 2P and two hours prior to curtain times on performance days. The show opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (125 West 43 Street) in January 2014, where it has since broken all box office records and recently became the highest grossing production in the Theatre's history.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of BEAUTIFUL - THE Carole King MUSICAL (Ghostlight Records) won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album and is available on CD, digitally, and on vinyl. Beautiful launched its first U.S. National Tour in September 2015 at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI, and is also currently playing internationally, with productions in Japan, Australia, and touring the UK.
