Artists Dave Fox (piano), Neill Clegg (saxophone, clarinet and flute) and Matt Kendrick (double bass) will be joined by guest vocalists, who cover the Great American Songbook, jazz classics including swing…and modal classics from the late ‘50s to early ‘60s, as well as Brazilian jazz from the early ‘60s. No cover charge!

About the Artists

Vaughan Penn
Vaughan’s smoky-contralto vocals and songwriter chops are influenced by Etta James, Tina Turner, Koko Taylor and Stevie Nicks. Two of her original jazz songs – Miss You Most and Don’t Make Me Wait have been featured on NBC’s Go-On and E-Channel’s The Arrangement.

A North Carolina singer/songwriter, recording artist/producer, Vaughan’s original music has been featured over 155 times in television shows and movies including Grey’s Anatomy, L-Word, Californication, MTV’s The Hills, Laguna Beach and the Oscar Winning film The Big Short to name a few.

Eleanor Faub
Eleanor Faub is a vocalist currently living in High Point, NC. Born in Greensboro to two musician-parents, Eleanor's artistic career began in classical ballet, where she learned to sing Prokofiev's entire score to Romeo and Juliet. After attending UNC School of the Arts in high school for ballet, she realized her calling was to pursue a career in music. She currently attends UNC Greensboro, where she studies voice with Janinah Burnett. Eleanor has had the opportunity to take masterclasses with Jane Monheit and Christian Sands. When not performing or practicing, Eleanor enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, doing Pilates, and listening to lots and lots of music!
