Wake Forest Renaissance Centre Presents THE (ALMOST) TOTALLY TRUE STORY OF HANSEL AND GRETEL
Wake Forest Renaissance Centre in Wake Forest, NC presents The (Almost) Totally True Story of Hansel and Gretel, May 8-16.
This is not the story your parents read to you as a child. In fact, you will be shocked to learn what really (almost) happened when the children were abandoned by their parents in the woods. Combine a struggling fairy godmother whose wand is bent, a pair of juvenile delinquents intent on wreaking havoc in the forest, storybook characters with untold stories, and a pair of English policemen hot on the trails of the two young criminals, and you have a play that will make you wonder if anyone will live happily ever after.
Advance Tickets $7-$10 ($3 more the day of performance).
